What’s next after you trim down? I didn’t realize I would become more sensitive to how food affected me. My wife was intuitive about that she should eat ‘broccoli’ every day.
I realized I needed to eat more of something too. It was ‘kale’. You will ‘sense’ what you need to eat more of after eating plant-based whole food a while. You become increasingly ‘sensitive’ to what you should and shouldn’t eat.

I observed eating brown rice with soy milk with honey at night caused me acid reflux. It wasn’t super painful, but I knew something was wrong. It was the honey. Honey is acid. Rice also is, but when I eat rice with soy milk and no sweetener like honey, it doesn’t cause acid reflux. So, now I use stevia.

Even though raw uncooked honey is natural, it is still acidic. Because of its acidity, it tends to also cause cavities.
High fructose corn syrup is the most ‘un-healthful’ sweetener of all. Your liver doesn’t know what to do with it. It can cause cardiovascular problems and you may develop the inflammatory nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.
They put HFCS in almost everything it seems because it’s so cheap. Eat resistant starch foods like beans, rice and potatoes. These keep you satisfied for hours and you never have to count calories. If you get hungry later with that ‘sweet tooth’, try eating whole fruit.
